I've been keeping a journal to help me through my depression. No one else can read it, but it just helps to get it all out without fear of judgment, and is there when I need it. Who knows, maybe some day my husband can read it to see what I went through.

Anyway there is a discreet free online journal at https://penzu.com/account/signup for anyone who would like to try it, and see if it helps them at all. It's a good tool when you are overwhelmed and don't know where to go or who to turn to, but feel like you need to get it all out of your system somehow.

Journaling is one thing I ALWAYS recommend to my clients (I am a social worker...I know, go figure. I can help anyone buy myself... URGH)

It is one of the BEST ways to let your feelings out. I have a journal I keep for my unborn daughter through my pregnancy. And yes, the affair is in it. I have no idea if she will ever get it or not, but it is for her. I have to tell her over and over that no matter what happens, me and her father BOTH love her and she was made out of nothing but pure love.

I have yet to pick up my journaling again, myself. It will help. I am glad you have made the decision to start it. It's an amazing tool and I hope it helps you.

Thanks Anitsirk. Every little bit helps, and the journal definitely falls into that category.
